  22. I'm using 3COM's 3c562 which is a v.34+Ethernet.  I don't like the 
  23. fittings used to connect the cables to the PCMCIA card (difficult for 
  24. large hands) but I'm quite pleased by the performance of the card.  I'm 
  25. using it in an IBM 760CD.  The throughput of the Ethernet section is 
  26. significantly higher than the IBM Ethernet PCMCIA adapter (aka National 
  27. 4100) which preceded it.

  29. I did have one failure - modem wouldn't reliably connect - a mechanical 
  30. fitting problem - 3COM replaced the whole kit in just a couple of days.
