- I'm using 3COM's 3c562 which is a v.34+Ethernet. I don't like the
- fittings used to connect the cables to the PCMCIA card (difficult for
- large hands) but I'm quite pleased by the performance of the card. I'm
- using it in an IBM 760CD. The throughput of the Ethernet section is
- significantly higher than the IBM Ethernet PCMCIA adapter (aka National
- 4100) which preceded it.
-
- I did have one failure - modem wouldn't reliably connect - a mechanical
- fitting problem - 3COM replaced the whole kit in just a couple of days.
